Why the Russian energy sector?

  1. Great potential of increasing energy efficiency (EE) in the energy sector as the energy intensity of Russia's GDP was three times as high as the EU-15 average in 2004.
  2. The gradual liberalization of electricity prices which is planned to be completed in 2011, as well as the rising domestic gas prices will force both residential as industrial end-users to increase EE.
  3. The great potential for EE combined with the rising costs of energy resources provide business opportunities for producers of EE equipment and suppliers of technical know-how regarding EE.

  2. Introduction of energy efficient mobile cascade boiler systems for heating purposes in the Russian Federation.
